Job Purpose
Ensuring overall program and client relationship health throughout WB Games Montreal.

Coordination of Supervision/Evaluation/Mentorship/Engagements programs for ~300 member onsite team.

Evaluation and reporting of program/team effectiveness to WB Management.

Strategic resource planning and employee development alongside WB Management and KWS to create effective teams

Direct Supervision of team of ~10 QA Coordinators


Scope of Role


The job entails managing numerous project teams across several QA related service lines, the execution of which will take place in WB Games Montreal production facilities.

The Program Manager is responsible for all aspects of managing the KWS on-site team including Resource Planning, Evaluations, Promotions, Interventions, Social/Engagement event coordination.


The Program Manager coordinates internal delivery between the relevant WB teams and services, as well assumes responsibility for their team production budgets, financial reporting, scheduling, and delivery.


The Program Manager is responsible for aligning the global strategy of the partners' work with Keywords, along with program investment and overall monitoring that aligns to the health of the program, be it fiscal, client relationship, delivery, or other.


The Program Manager brings a personable approach strong focus on employee development and continuous improvement, always looking for opportunities to make our teams more effective.


Key Responsibilities and Activities

  • Proactively solve project issues with stakeholders before they impact the program
  • Manage multiple project coordinators across various projects at customer site
  • Define and coordinate personnel needs across the program
  • Work with KWS HR to manage staff on site including recruitment, intervention, dismissals, etc.
  • Centralization and coordination of evaluation and calibration process
  • Identifying and tracking of program action items and initiatives
  • Regularly present to WB Management of key KPI's and program health
  • Develop, implement, and iterate on processes across the program
  • Resolve roadblocks and issues, and escalate as appropriate, including IT, Infosec, BD, etc.
  • Take charge of the professional development of the QA Coordinators, and their daytoday management and motivation
  • Mentor and train new Coordinators, as well as other assigned employees, when needed
  • First and main point of contact for the client for all services and studios within the Program
  • Work with various KWS Managers and Directors to create a Global Strategy of execution of the Program
  • Responsible for creating and managing high level communications and forecasting needs
  • Communicate effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions
  • Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and foster and deepen client relationships
  • Take responsibility to ensure that tasks without defined accountability are managed and delivered appropriately
  • Work with QA Coordinators and Test Leads on adapting and managing program deliverables
  • Analyze project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates and realization, and manage project budgets
  • Any other related tasks

Requirements:


  • Experience in a Project Management or similar role in the Video Games or related industry
  • Understanding of QA Strategy, with indepth knowledge of Localization QA testing and game development processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong leadership skills and decisionmaking abilities
  • Skillful in conflict management (incl. culturally/politically sensitive problems) and giving/taking of constructive feedback
  • Selfmotivated and organized, innovative, and analytical with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Familiarity with workflow, test case, and project management systems and tools
  • Advanced MS Excel knowledge, and MS Office experience
  • English language a must (written and spoken)
  • Fluent in French
  • Knowledge of other languages is a plus
