    The Opportunity


    Leavitt Machinery is looking for an organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team as a hybrid employee in Coquitlam, British Columbia as a contract employee for 12 months.

    As the Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring that all invoices received throughout the organization are processed properly, as well as processing all business-related expense claims generated by employees.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    As the Accounts Payable Clerk your key responsibilities will include:

    Enter and code PO and Non-PO invoices into ERP System
    High volume data entry
    Follow-up with vendors and branches on invoice issues
    Investigate and resolve Accounts Payable Discrepancies between PO's and AP invoices
    Statement and purchase order reconciliations
    Cheque/Electronic payment matching
    Complete vendor credit applications
    Other duties as required

    Required Skills & Qualifications

    The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:

    Possess or is working towards an education in accounting or a related discipline
    A minimum of 1 year of related work experience in accounts payable
    Superior Microsoft Office skills with experience using MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
    Excellent communication, customer service and multitasking skills
    Must be accurate, organized, and highly detailed-oriented
    Previous office experience is preferred
    Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX and Concur will be considered an asset
    Able to work with minimum supervision

    The base pay range for this role is: $39,600-$54,500 per year.

    This is a hybrid role based in Coquitlam, British Columbia. Please note that most of the work will be remote.
