RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the daily operations of a private high school in Ontario, Canada.
- Create and distribute school timetables, course timetables, and examination schedules.
- Coordinate the collection of quizzes, midterms, and final examinations using online platforms.
- Oversee the overall administration and coordination of school activities.
- Ensure compliance with the Ministry of Education's requirements for credit courses.
- Manage teacher's binders, the School handbook, course outlines, and related documentation.
- Demonstrate excellent knowledge of online educational platforms such as Moodle, Doodle, Google Classroom, D2L, or similar tools.
- Manage ONSIS and ensure the accurate maintenance of Ontario Student Records.
- Conduct high school inspections as per the Ontario Ministry of Education's requirements.
- Prepare detailed reports based on inspections and address any outstanding issues raised by the Ministry.
- Ensure students' academic files and records are accurate and uptodate.
- Oversee the delivery of OSSD credit courses.
- Demonstrate good knowledge of PLAR (Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition) assessment.
- Utilize teaching experience to contribute to the delivery of OSSD courses.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree (Bachelor of Education or Master's degree preferred).
- Member of the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT certified) is an asset.
- Knowledge of Ontario's Ministry of Education requirements for high school.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the management of an educational environment, preferably in a private school setting in Ontario.
- Familiarity with the international schooling market is an asset.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships.
- 3 years Experience teaching high school courses based on the Ontario Secondary School Curriculum.
- Familiarity with the Ontario Secondary School Curriculum and _Growing Success policy_.
- Passionate about teaching, consulting, and mentoring.
- Canadian citizenship or permanent residency is required.

Salary:
$44,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
