Wood has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Civil Structural Engineer with a background in hydropower and dams to join the Halifax team.

The Role

We are seeking a highly experienced engineering professional to lead our dam safety reviews, conceptual design development and project management. This senior role will be based in Atlantic Canada, allowing you to work on challenging projects while enjoying the region's natural beauty. You will have excellent communication skills, ability to motivate your team members and collaborate effectively across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for managing complex projects from inception to completion ensuring timely delivery of high-quality results within budget constraints;


• Liaising closely with clients throughout each phase of the project; providing technical guidance, support & direction as required;
  


• Maintaining accurate records documenting all phases (scheduling meetings etc.)
  in accordance established practices guidelines.
