Position:
Sanitation Support Member
***
Permanent - $17/hr sanitation premium)

Shift:
Starts between 4AM - 8AM for 8hrs shift / day. Must be able to do rotation shifts from the start time of 4AM - 8AM.

Transportation:
Company covers transportation for shift starting / ending between 12AM - 6AM

Location: 1485 Chevrier Blvd, Winnipeg, MB R3T 1Y7

We are hiring to build a robust Talent and Development team to support our bakeries and Team Members.

Our bakery team is the heart of our company and plays an important role in keeping North America's food supply going.

Our Sanitation workers ensure adherence to the highest cleanliness standards at our facilities.

They work hand in hand with our production team to ensure all equipment is routinely sanitized, facilities are maintained, and all products are produced in the most sanitary conditions.

Responsibilities:

Maintain the cleanliness of the production floor and surrounding area
You will be responsible for locks out, dismantling, cleaning and sanitizing of production machines as required in accordance with master sanitation schedule and standard operating procedures
Adhere to cleaning procedures in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices Standards and Health and Safety guidelines
Collect waste and recyclable materials from production area and dispose of them
Assist in the cleaning of any major spills of liquid or dry product as needed
Perform specialized cleaning procedures in accordance with master sanitation schedule

Requirements:

You preferably have some experience in industrial sanitation
You are comfortable working with sanitizing agents and chemicals
You can lift up to 50 pounds when needed
You like to work in a fastpaced environment, are selfreliant, and are energized by opportunities to learn and grow
You've got really strong attention to detail and are able to meet cleanliness standards set by the company
You have strong people skills—you're approachable, a good listener, and empathetic.
You receive constructive criticism and feedback as an opportunity to improve your skills, abilities, and performance
You are someone who listens to comprehend a situation first, asking questions to clarify your own understanding, instead of listening to be able to reply quickly.
