Description

Devon Eye Clinic has an exciting opportunity available for a full time or part time Optician/Optometric Assistant/Optical Assistant with sales experience to join our full scope optometric practice. Our eye care clinic is in the heart of downtown Devon where we have been serving patients for over 45 years. Experience in the optical industry is an asset. In-house training will be available.


Some key responsibilities:


  • Providing exceptional professional and friendly service to patients
  • Providing patients with genuine recommendations for frame selection, styling, fitting lens selection and measurements
  • Computer entry ensuring accurate patient information
  • Dispense, adjust and repair eyewear
  • Instruction to patients on eyewear use and care
  • Strong people skills to troubleshoot and problem solve concerns and issues
  • Previous optical experience, as well as, retail experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills and works well with a team
  • Computer knowledge
  • Passionate for delivering excellent customer services

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Education:


  • Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:


  • Front desk: 1 year (preferred)
  • Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
