Your Opportunity
Due North is currently recruiting for a
Logistics Coordinator. The successful applicant will work from our Georgetown location.

The Logistics Coordinator's main mandate is to coordinate all activities related to the material movement of our finished products for outbound customer orders.

This includes working very closely with shippers, receivers, carriers, and customers to ensure a seamless transportation experience.


You Will

  • Coordinate daily outbound shipments with freight companies and track shipments and input data into the company system.
  • Define invoicing data types and maintaining databases and ensure Bill of Ladings and relevant freight documents issued through our system are correct.
  • Manage client requests, queries, complaints, complete payment transactions and issue refunds when applicable.
  • Prepare estimates and quotes using the internal MRP system in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Upload and archiving invoice data, as well as filing contracts.
  • Analyze data to highlight potential areas of concern in an effort to increase efficiency, productivity and assist with past due or denied invoices.
  • Compare and match carriers' waybills with invoices and/or purchase orders in order to verify the accuracy, and then forward to be approved for payment.
  • Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance with company policies.
  • Create and update records for the inventory control system.
  • Obtain and/or verify customers' billing information, product numbers, and item specifications.
  • Prepare, maintain and review invoice files, reports, and price lists as needed.
  • Respond to customer and supplier inquiries about order status, changes or cancellations.
  • Assist with administrative tasks as assigned and support Accounting Department with data entry of invoices and billing.

You Have

  • Post secondary education in Supply Chain Management/Logistics Coordination and/or completion of secondary school with the development of jobrelated skills through onthejob training and jobrelated courses.
  • 35 years experience in a similar manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal communications with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Organized and detail oriented, and adaptable to change.

Salary:
$45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
