KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:_
Maintenance, examination and repair, as needed, of various sized portable fire extinguishers
Understand the type, size and testing procedure for different Fire Extinguisher Manufacturers
Maintain regular, consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, personal appearance and adherence to relevant health and safety procedures
Delivery and pick up of extinguishers from various sites for repairs
Perform data entry functions for tracking the services performed on Fire Extinguishers
As required to include a thorough examination of the mechanical parts, extinguishing agent and expelling means of each portable fire extinguisher.
Internal examination every 6 years and stored pressure fire extinguishers that require a 12year hydrostatic test.
Low pressure hydrostatic testing of the extinguisher to verify its strength against rupture.
QUALIFICATIONS:_
Training provided
Drivers license with clean drivers abstract required.
