Title:
Medical Laboratory Technologist, Community Based Testing


Contract:
Permanent - Full Time


Hours: 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday

Location:
Vancouver - Sinclair Office


About the role

As the Medical Laboratory Technologist, you will provide technical leadership and expertise in the provisioning of Laboratory and Diagnostic Services for the FNHA community based testing initiatives.

You participate in the planning and coordination of services. And you will facilitate workplace solutions and the implementation of new techniques and procedures. As well, you will oversee the quality of work performed for assigned area.


The position requires substantive travel to multiple sites with a focus on training, coaching, clinical oversight and leading team members.

About you
To be successful in this role you will have / be:

  • Completion of an accredited post-secondary credential in Medical Laboratory Science, complemented by either a Bachelor of Science degree or an Advanced Registered certificate and/or completion of a supervisory/management program or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • Certified by the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science (CSMLS)
  • You may have experience in;
  • A minimum of five (5) years' recent, related experience including two (2) years' experience in a supervisory capacity, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
