Position Summary
We are currently seeking applicants for the full-time position of Medical Laboratory Assistant (MLA) Instructor. This position holds primarily responsibility for a combination of didactic teaching and labs.

The position holder may be requested to support in the Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) lab within the MLA scope of practice.

Education & Experience

Medical Laboratory Technologist licensed under the New Brunswick Society of Medical Laboratory Technologist (NBSMLT) or a Medical Laboratory Assistant certified by the Canadian Society of Medical Laboratory Science (CSMLS).
At least 35 years of experience in a hospital laboratory.
Enjoy the dynamics of teaching and learning
Have an interest in lifelong learning.
Be highly organized, work well under pressure and be able to multitask
Have strong attention to detail and be effective working independently
Bilingualism in French and English and experience in an academic environment will be considered assets for this position.
