    Currently we are seeking an:
    Audio Visual & Program Coordinator

    The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless execution of both domestic and international programs, webinars, and workshops.

    Reporting to the Director, Market Support & Training, your primary responsibilities will include:

    Audio Visual Coordination
    Coordinating in-person program audio visual needs.

    Coordinate online meetings and webinars in real-time along with troubleshooting to ensure all participants have the best meeting experience.

    Attend planning meetings and dry runs to make recommendations and provide guidance on the options available within virtual event platform(s), to identify and resolve issues in advance and ensure effective event delivery.

    Provide support, guidance and training when necessary to colleagues and stakeholders on appropriate virtual platforms, best practices and recommendations for formats best suited for the content to be delivered.

    Take the opportunity to visualize the experience from the attendee's perspective to make creative and innovative suggestions which will help improve, elevate and add value to events, as well as help foresee possible issues before they arise.

    Maintain your external network to understand the competitive landscape, and keep abreast of industry developments, including new virtual event technology solutions, updates and trends.

    Analyzing needs and recommending appropriate technologies for teaching/learning goals.

    Program Coordination

    Coordinating activities for successful in-coming and outgoing program execution, including program planning, participant registration, agenda preparation, and logistical arrangements.

    Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure accurate program details, including communication with interpreters, venue arrangements, and participant support.

    Organize and execute logistics for webinars, including presenter coordination, translation, event setup, and technical support.
    Collaborate with CC Communications staff to disseminate program information through various channels, including the organization's website.
    Facilitate communication with trade commissioners, interpreters, and other external stakeholders as needed for program execution.
    Maintain program supplies, conduct research for alternative event hosting, and contribute to the continuous improvement of program-related processes.
    Assist in funding reports and provide support to the Senior Program Coordinator as required.


    Position Requirements:
    ~2-4 years prior experience with in-person or virtual event coordination, event production or webinar coordination/hosting.
    ~ Knowledge of or experience with different virtual event/training platforms (e.g. Zoom, MS Teams, WebEx, etc.).
    ~ Audio/Visual and conferencing (phone, video and virtual) support experience.
    ~ Knowledge of webcast and streaming media technology is an asset.
    ~ Ability to stay up to date on the latest webcast trends and technology advances in order to provide clients with market leading best practices.
    ~ Passion for and dedication towards creating engaging and memorable virtual experiences for program participants.
    ~ Self-starter with creative problem-solving skills and a proven ability to be resourceful and proactive to obtain information needed to complete tasks.
    ~ Must be able to work quickly in a fast-paced environment while under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
    ~ Experience in online and e-learning course design, development and delivery would be an asset.
    ~ Intermediate to advanced computer skills – MS Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, online tools for registration, distribution etc.
    ~ Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
    ~ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    ~ Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
    ~ Ability to be flexible in working hours and be available to work outside of regular business hours.
    ~ Fluency in additional languages to English would be an asset.
    ~ Experience in event planning and coordination is an asset.
    ~ Knowledge of agriculture or related industries is an asset.
