Green Hotel Project Manager
Position Overview:
The Green Hotel Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the development and operation of a sustainable, net-zero energy hotel project.
The incumbent will ensure the successful completion of the construction phase while promoting the hotel's green initiatives and driving sales and marketing efforts to maximize revenue.
The Green Hotel Project Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the success of the hotel project while upholding its commitment to sustainability, innovation, and guest satisfaction.
This position offers a unique opportunity to lead a groundbreaking first-of-its-kind initiative that redefines the standards of eco-friendly hospitality.Key Responsibilities:
Construction Management:
- Oversee all phases of the construction process, ensuring compliance with green building standards and sustainability goals.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors to implement sustainable design elements and technologies.
- Monitor project progress, budget, and timelines to ensure timely completion within allocated resources.
Sales and Marketing (focused on the hotel industry)
- Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to promote the hotel's sustainability initiatives and attract environmentally conscious guests.
- Identify target markets and segments to drive occupancy and revenue.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to create compelling messaging and promotional materials highlighting the hotel's green features and benefits.
Public Relations (PR):
- Cultivate positive relationships with media outlets, influencers, and stakeholders to generate publicity and awareness for the hotel's sustainability efforts.
- Develop and distribute press releases, media kits, and other PR materials highlighting key milestones, initiatives, and events.
- Coordinate media tours, interviews, and press events to showcase the hotel's ecofriendly practices and innovations.
Sustainability and Net Zero Expertise:
- Provide expertise and guidance on sustainable building practices, energy efficiency, waste management, and renewable energy solutions.
- Ensure the hotel operates in accordance with netzero energy goals, implementing measures to minimize environmental impact and carbon footprint.
- Monitor and analyze sustainability metrics and performance indicators to track progress and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Contribute to the enhancement of wellness facilities by introducing amenities aimed at boosting productivity, such as a juice bar, electric shuttle bus, sauna, gym, protein bar, ebikes, etc.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, environmental science, business administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience in project management, preferably in the hospitality or construction industry.
Strong understanding of green building principles and sustainable design standards.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in sales and marketing techniques, including digital marketing and social media strategies.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Passion for sustainability and a commitment to advancing environmental stewardship in the hospitality sector.
Salary:
$60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
