Founded in 1985, Composites Canada is a leading distributor and materials supplier for the growing Canadian high-end composites manufacturing industry.

Stocking and shipping out of two locations, technical service is the foundation of our business.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistic Coordinator to join our team.

As a Logistic Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our supply chain and logistics processes.

Duties:

• Coordinate and monitor the movement of goods and materials through the supply chain
• Source and select appropriate carriers or freight forwarders for transportation needs
• Manage shipping and receiving activities, ensuring timely delivery of goods
• Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and optimize storage space
• Collaborate with internal teams, such as procurement and production, to ensure timely availability of materials
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and requirements related to transportation and logistics
• Maintain accurate records of all logistics activities, including shipping documents, invoices, and inventory reports

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of logistics principles and practices
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and transportation management systems (TMS)
• Forklift certification is a plus
• Excellent problemsolving skills with the ability to think critically and make quick decisions
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fastpaced environment
