Job Summary
HMD Engineering is an established custom CNC Manufacturing Machine Shop located in Langley, BC.

For the last three decades we have provided high quality custom, Machining and Manufacturing services to our Canadian and American clients.

We support a variety of industries including Pulp and Paper, Forestry, Oil and Gas and Mining/Refining industries.

The Opportunity
CNC Machinist

Full Time, permanent position
Day Shift
Salary: $ $42.00, dependent on qualifications and / or experience,

Competencies

Successful applicant:

Reads and interprets drawings, makes up fixturing, selects tools, proves out and edits programs, run small batches, and perform inprocess QC
Works independently and collaborates as a team member
Is a critical thinker able to creatively problem solve
Demonstrates good verbal and written communication skills

Assets:

Ability to program using Mastercam and/or Gibbs is an asset
Familiarity with Fanuc, Fagor and Heidenhain Controls, is an asset
Ability to run 2, 3 and 4 axis milling and turning is an asset

Qualifications
Red Seal / Journeyman Machinist, or equivalent work experience

Pay:
$28.00-$42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
