The Manager, Audience Growth & Insights Strategy will be responsible fordeveloping strategy that drives audience growth of our social media presence, leveraging data driven audience and content insights, platform expertise, and a hacking mentality to reach our goals (primarily audience growth, but secondarily audience engagement).

This role will collaborate closely with the Social Media Analyst to deliver ongoing, actionable insights and optimization recommendations through reporting and social landscape intelligence.

This role will also drive social media strategic testing proposals, including design and learning agenda for post-test evaluation, in concert with Social Media Analyst.


Responsibilities:


  • Leading strategic insight development within social reporting.
  • Finding every edge possible to drive growth, even in the smallest of increments that will add up to longterm sizable gains and accomplishing of goals.
  • Driving audience growth from insight to execution, working crossfunctionally to get things done.
  • Monitoring platform evolution and target audience shifts to identify hacks, tweaks, and adjustments to growth strategy.

You possess the following professional and technical skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in communications/marketing or equivalent.
  • At least 58 years of experience in the marketing or advertising field as a Social Strategist, Growth Marketer, or Channel Optimization Specialist.
  • Experience growing organic social followings across all major social platforms (i.e., Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn).
  • A knack for platform innovation that drives growth.
  • An audience whisperer, detecting shifts in target audience culture/trends and knowing how to authentically, and effectively, engage Cirque Du Soleil in the shifts.
  • Strong communication skills to share strategic recommendations succinctly and effectively.
  • Collaborative and crossfunctional.
  • Versatile and ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment.
  • Experience in paid social and influencer strategy is an asset
  • Experience in 3rd party partnerships is an asset
  • English fluency required, but Frenchbilingual is ideal, with the ability to communicate both orally and in writing.
  • Experience in the entertainment industry is an asset.
