Position Summary

CIMCO is seeking a Health and Safety Administrator to join our growing Health and Safety team, you will be responsible for the administration of Health and Safety programs and training, tracking of data and other administrative duties.

This position will appeal to a recent graduates of a Health and Safety or Human Resources programs.
Role Responsibilities

  • Assist the Corporate Safety Manager as needed to plan and fulfill corporate objectives.
  • Provide administrative support to the HSE team.
  • Manage third party safety prequalification accounts (ISNetworld, Avetta, Cognibox, etc.)
  • Conduct new hire orientations.
  • Coordinate H&S Training and maintain training records.
  • Update Accident and Injury Records, including Corrective Action Plans.
  • Prepare HSE Communications such as Newsletters, Lessons Learned and Toolbox Talks.
  • Inspect First Aid Equipment, AED and Emergency Response Program.
  • Other administrative or related duties as assigned.
Required Professional Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications

  • College or University education would be considered an asset.
  • Education in Health and Safety or Human Resources would be considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated organizational ability.
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office.
  • Experience with databases and database management tools is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Good attention to detail.
