The Opportunity:

4 month work term: September to December 2024

How You Will Contribute:

_ Reporting to the Reconfigurable Line System(RLS) program management team, you will be working with software engineers and test engineers to track the deliverables for RLS releases._

Participate in release management activities and scrum meetings
Trouble shoot automated sanity issues, raise Jiras to track them
Design and develop scripts to assist automated sanities.

The Must Haves:

Enrolled in bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent degree
Excellent analytical, problem solving and programming skills (C, C++, Python)
Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.
Excellent organization skills to manage time, resources, and priorities.
Familiarity with Linux development environment and devops
Comfortable in a team environment while still taking accountability and working independently as needed.

Assets:

Good understanding of microservice architecture and realtime systems.
Experience with building APIs and services using CLI, REST, YANG, NETCONF.
Experience with automated test frameworks such as Jenkins
Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies.
Experience with design and development tools such as Bitbucket, Eclipse, JIRA, GDB, Confluence
