lead the evolution of impact methodology and reporting. You want to achieve new successes by ensuring your frameworks and processes are not only exemplary, but they are also standard-setting and standards-aligned.


Rally Assets' Head of Impact Management will provide leadership across Rally teams regarding impact assessment of client portfolios, which are multi-asset but commonly focused on private investments.

An external and internal impact ambassador and field builder, the Head of Impact Management helps drive impact measurement and management improvements across the impact investing sector in Canada.


PRIMARY DUTIES

Impact Framework Builder

  • Serve as a key architect for the refinement and expansion of Rally's impact methodology across the investment process from screening to due diligence to postinvestment measurement. Refinement and enhancement will be in line with current and emerging impact standards
  • Direct and oversee the collection of qualitative and quantitative impact data
  • Work closely with the Head of Reporting and Communications to ensure assessment processes result in reports that clearly communicate a fulsome picture of the impact
  • Search out software to enhance our methodology and enable us to scale our work

Impact Management Field Builder

  • Collaborate with partners and allies within the wider field to improve, standardize and increase the use of impact measurement practices in this country
  • Represent Rally externally at forums and events regarding impact measurement and management
  • Lead engagement with impact investing industry groups and other stakeholders
  • Support efforts around impact management education to fund managers, financial intermediaries, and social purpose organizations
  • Build out Rally's internal impact measurement capabilities
  • Oversee and deliver Rally's own impact selfassessment

QUALIFICATIONS

On your resume, we ask that you demonstrate the following:

  • At least 8 years of relevant professional leadership experience that includes:
  • Designing, testing, and refining impact measurement, management, or evaluation approaches, preferably with the investment sector
  • Utilizing impact measurement tools, frameworks, and standards used within the investment sector, such as Impact Management Norms, the Common Approach Data Standard, UN Sustainable Development Goals, IRIS+, Operating Principles for Impact Management, B Impact Assessment, UNDRIP and UNPRI
  • Developing impact frameworks
  • Successfully designing, implementing, and leading complex, multifaceted, multipartner projects, including securing and managing large supplier relationships
  • The databases you have used in the past and managed
  • Your experience with project management
  • You are legally able to work in Canada

  • Your ability to design approaches to make data collection on outcomes easier and better
  • Your ability to translate complex ideas and make them accessible to nonspecialist audiences
  • Strong communications skills, including public communication skills
