Responsibilities:
PRIMARY PURPOSE
This role supports effective and efficient management of information and data in the Enterprise, from planning and systems development to information disposal or long-term preservation
Includes:
leading initiatives involving collaboration with customers, users, information management (IM) specialists, and information technology (IT) specialists in the delivery of projects and operational initiatives using defined methodologies and best practices; analyzing requirements, providing advice, options and/or recommendations and delivering IM solutions; leading project teams in the design, development, testing, implementation, integration, maintenance, and support of IM solutions; providing advice and recommendations to management on complex IM issues; leading system configuration, customization, migration and integration initiatives for information, records and document management systems and; developing automated processes and workflows for information classification, retention schedule enforcement, and compliance monitoring.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Collaborates with customers, users, information management (IM) and information technology (IT) specialists and vendors in the delivery of projects and operational initiatives using defined methodologies and best practices related to Information retention and lifecycle management, Information protection and security, Privacy and compliance, Metadata and taxonomy, Enterprise search, Information access automation and Digital Preservation.
Analyzes requirements, provides recommendations for system improvements by understanding existing business processes, contributing to new processes and system designs, Collecting, and analyzing data to enable decision-making and process improvements.
Develops current and future state documents to aid in system redesign. Develops user guidelines and provides training on new processes and functionality.
Provides advice and recommendations to management on complex IM/IT issues Including evaluating and recommending adoption of new systems, processes, or technologies by staying current on market trends and industry best practices, provides inputs on developing plans for information management technologies and supports change management efforts.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
The competencies of this position are acquired through completion of two (2) years of post-secondary educational program in computer science, information technology, information management or equivalent plus four (4) years of recent related experience.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Solid experience collaborating with clients, users, information management* (IM) specialists, and information technology (IT) specialists in the delivery of projects and operational initiatives.
Solid experience with OpenText Content Server, Microsoft Purview, SharePoint, Power Automate, Varonis technologies would be considered an asset.
Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively review and analyze change / improvement initiatives.
Solid communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to establish and maintain positive, collaborative working relationships with internal clients, team members and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

A standard interview format will be used including general, scenario and behavioural descriptive interview questions.Work Schedule:
37.5 hours per week.
