Summary

As a Social Media Coordinator, you will be responsible for visiting various store locations, and working with the marketing team to capture engaging content, scheduling posts, and responding to customer inquiries on social media platforms.


Responsibilities:


  • Visit multiple dealership locations to capture highquality photos and videos for social media content.
  • Create engaging and visually appealing social media posts, including graphics, captions, and hashtags, to promote our brand and products/services.
  • Schedule and publish social media posts across various platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) using social media management tools.
  • Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics (e.g., engagement, reach, conversions) to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Engage with customers by promptly responding to inquiries, comments, and direct messages in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Monitor brand mentions and relevant conversations on social media platforms and address customer concerns or escalate them to the appropriate team members, if necessary.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to ensure social media content aligns with overall marketing strategies and objectives.
  • Stay up to date with social media trends, industry best practices, and emerging platforms, and make recommendations for incorporating them into our social media strategy.
  • Manage social media content calendars, ensuring timely and consistent posting across platforms.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate fresh ideas for social media campaigns and promotions.

Requirements:


  • Collage Diploma in marketing, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Demonstrated passion for social media and a solid understanding of various social media platforms.
  • 12 years' experience in creating and managing social media content for brands, either through internships, personal projects, or previous work experience.
  • Proficiency in using social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Later, Full Throttle) and photo/video editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, Canva).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling content and engage with customers in a professional manner.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple store locations and social media accounts effectively.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and come up with innovative ideas for social media campaigns.
  • Basic knowledge of analytics and the ability to interpret social media metrics to drive datainformed decisions.
  • Flexibility to travel to different store locations on a regular basis and work occasional evenings or weekends for special events or promotions.
  • Familiarity with the retail industry or previous experience in a multistore environment is a plus.
