Reporting to - Regional Sales Manager, Ontario

We are currently seeking an experienced territory manager to join our sales team This position is responsible for executing the sales plan for the Niagara Peninsula territory.

The incumbent in this role also actively coaches, mentors, and trains client staff including but not limited to owners, retail sales representatives, and administrative personnel.


Key Responsibilities:


  • In consultation with the Regional Manager, develop and implement the sales strategy for the Niagara Peninsula Territory including market penetration and account management and deliver the sales plans by Territory by product.
  • Working with the Regional Manager, establish annual sales objectives and targets and manage the sales process.
  • Execute on the annual sales forecast specific to the territory.
  • Attend relevant events / conferences.
  • Review quantitative sales data with Regional Manager and react & execute on rapidly changing trends or new competitive threats and opportunities within the territory.
  • Through the sales process, build and maintain excellent customer relationships.
  • Work closely with members of the Commercial Team.
  • Keep up to date with industry news, competitive product & pricing trends and report to Regional Manager,
  • Regular communication with Inside Sales Partner regarding all sales activities withing the territory.
  • Monitor industry and competitor products to meet changing market and competitive conditions and report to Regional Manager.
  • Identify potential product, business, and sales opportunities to Regional Manager.
  • Cold calling potential customers and assessing opportunities for sales.
  • Networking with businesses and associations to build relationships within the territory.
  • Collaborate with Regional Manager to provide short, medium, and longterm strategic sales plans.
  • Provide input and feedback and on all aspects of the business ensuring we remain a customer centric company.

Knowledge & Skills Required

  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in flooring related industry is required.
  • College diploma or undergraduate degree.
  • Proven experience managing sales process within flooring industry.
