Positions Available- 2 On-Call Positions (Rotational 12-hour shifts including weekends, and statutory holidays). Shifts are scheduled in advance with opportunity for additional shifts on short notice. Shifts are allotted based on accrued hours (Officers with the least number of hours are contacted first).


Requirements:


  • Postsecondary diploma/degree in a security related field; or an acceptable combination of education, experience and training;
  • 6 months experience as a security guard or in a relevant field (law enforcement, military);
  • Experience working in a Security Operations Centre or in an investigative role would be an asset;
  • Knowledge of public safety, security procedures and protocols;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, good judgement, and decisionmaking skills under pressure
    Condition of Employment:
  • Must meet the bilingual requirement to be invited to the interview process.
