Position Overview:


An Automotive Account Representative will be responsible to work with new and existing automotive clients who have orders, complaints, or require information about automotive products/ services purchased within our organization.

We seek an energetic professional, interested in helping our business grow through value-based conversations and remarkable customer experience.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Process Tier 1 & 2 automotive customer purchase orders as per customer requirements outlined on their document. Verify pricing, quantity, and delivery instructions. Aligning with automotive schedules and requirements.
  • Instrumental in expediting critical deliveries, coordinating material availability and assist with carrier arrangements and tracking while analyzing multiple reports and research production history through internal systems (VIS and POP) to determine status of automotive customer orders.
  • Process automotive customer complaints, returns or credits and debits as required through analysis and research of financial or quality issues using system documentation and customer information.
  • Provide quotes to current and future automotive clients, obtain, analyze, compile, and record data received from multiple sources. Review customer prints and determine requirements from CAD file. Calculate pricing based on information received from operations and using standard practices.
  • Conduct meetings and conference calls on scheduling and technical issues with current and future automotive customers.
  • Negotiating contracts and follow through with implementation and maintenance.

Qualifications:


  • Administrative/ Business Admin diploma will be considered an asset.
  • 35 years of related automotive work experience is needed to effectively perform the job's responsibilities.
  • Experience with CAD drawings, ASM creation, IATF audits, and Tier 1& 2 automotive clients.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in the English language including but not limited to written, orally, and numerically in a professional manner. Bilingual (French) would be considered an asset.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, conversions, units of measurement and currency exchange. Basic algebra and geometry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Exposure to POP/ VIS like systems is preferred.
  • Must be detail oriented and conduct work with a high degree of accuracy.
