About the role

Your position
We are looking for a
Senior Compensation Consultant for our national team, part of the larger Human Resources Team


As an expert, you will act as a business partner to client group(s) and advise HR Community on our practices, policies and programs to support the business needs of the company.

You will work with a dynamic team that is always ready for the next challenge.
This permanent full-time position is based in Montreal.


Here are some of the ways you're going to make a difference:

  • Manage relationship with the HR Community and client group(s)regarding the compensation and working conditions initiatives
  • Solve issues by completing analyses and identifying best solutions to ensure our competitiveness in the market while ensuring internal equity
  • Lead deployment of activities during the annual compensation cycle (salary review, market pricing, shortterm bonus payout)
  • Lead (or contribute to) compensation projects with the business or the compensation team
  • Coordinate development and maintenance of policies, practices, communications plans, and recommend improvements
  • Develop and provide trainings to the HR community on Total Compensation & working conditions
  • Seek to improve compensation practices by questioning the status quo while exploring cuttingedge practices, market trends and legislative changes.
  • Act as a coach for other team members to ensure knowledge sharing

Your skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Mathematics or a related field

8 years of practical experience in total compensation, including a minimum of 3 years in a senior advisory role

  • Natural curiosity for total compensation (follows trends)
  • Experience in project management, planning, organization and leadership skills (required)
  • Indepth knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (required)
  • Knowledge of Workday (asset)
  • Rigorous, attention to detail and organized
  • Problemsolving skills
  • Focused on results and action
  • Exercise great discretion
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (French and English) (required)
