    Bilingual HR Advisor - Learning & Development

    Location: Toronto, ON - CHANEL Corporate Office
    Reports to: HR Director
    Contrat: Permanent and Full-Time

    Your role @Chanel:

    We are looking for a Bilingual Learning & Development Advisor to join our Human Resources team and for whom the main mission will be to deploy effective internal training, as well as communication strategies allowing for continuous enhancement of employee engagement and drive of the employee experience for our divisions across Canada.

    What impact can you create at Chanel:

    • Support our people development by identifying and deploying internal training sessions through our internal interactive training platforms;
    • Initiate and facilitate training and development programs offered in-house and via external vendors;
    • Support ongoing business requests to identify, analyze and provide learning solutions aligned with the individual and departmental learning and development plans;
    • Prepare and send internal bilingual communications to the target audience (i.e nominations, notice of departure, announcements, reminders, etc.)
    • In collaboration with the Internal Communications and People Engagement Lead based in the UK, implement the communication actions requested by the global team and adapt it to our audience;
    • Translate, in English or in French, communications and articles, ensuring the meaning and sense of the message remains the same in both languages;
    • Ensure weekly update our intranet and promote it through newsletters, in order to stimulate employee engagement and ensure effective use of the platform;
    • In collaboration with the HR team, create internal surveys and present the results to Upper Management;
    • Support all matters relating to internal communications, as well as promote projects and initiatives aimed at increasing the employee engagement;
    • Assist with implementing HR initiatives, projects, and activities.

    What you will bring to the role :

    • 5+ years experience in Human Resources and Training and / or HR Communications, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience;
    • Master the French and English language, both written and spoken (essential due to language requirement for all communications and trainings extended to employees in the province of Quebec);
    • Excellent writing skills in French and English;
    • Excellent organization, attention to detail and precision;
    • Dynamism, rigour, sense of ethics and professionalism;
    • Ability to work on several projects at the same time;
    • Ability to combine human perspectives with the corporate and the retail environment;
    • Comfortable with computers and systems.
