We have expertise in the installation of fiber optics, underground utilities for residential development, street lighting, and highway sign infrastructure across Canada.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Hydrovac Operator works with a Hydrovac Swamper and reports to Superintendents to operate Tornado Hydrovac trucks. This role also includes the maintenance of the equipment, performing safety checks and site evaluations as required.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operating 6 days a week, hours a day.
Dig and expose underground utilities with Hydrovac.
Perform daily preventative maintenance and mechanical checks.
Ensure safe operations of equipment.
Maintain and clean equipment when finished using it.
Site setup and cleanup.
Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

Class
3Q Driver's License.
Ability to lift
75lbs.
Outdoor construction experience.
Experience
operating in urban environments with knowledge of DOT restrictions and regulations.
Basic
Hydrovac mechanical aptitude.
