JOB TITLE:

YOUTH SERVICES WORKER | #1861


SERVICE AREA:

Vocational & Community Services


LOCATION:

Vancouver


START DATE:

May 6, 2024 (ending August 23, 2024)


TERM/STATUS:

Temporary Full Time


SCHEDULE/HRS:

Flex based schedule (Possible weekend and evening shifts)// 37.5 hours per week


HOURLY WAGE:

$20.00


THE ROLE:


REQUIREMENTS:


Education & Experience:


  • Postsecondary education or training in a related field (Social Services, Human Services, or Education).
  • Must be between ages of 1830 at intake time, legally entitled to work in Canada, not hold another full time (30 or more hours) summer job

Standard requirements of the Youth Services Worker include:

  • Criminal Record Clearance
  • Medical Clearance
  • Valid First Aid/CPR
  • Valid class 5 driver's license and use of a car is an asset
  • Demonstrated competency in English
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 36
  • Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person with refugee status
  • This position requires Union membership.
