We are looking for an organized and motivated individual to join our dynamic team as an
Administrative Assistant for our
Brampton, ON office.


Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate in order to ensure all load delivery paperwork is collected on time
  • Review and validate invoices by checking payment authorization, corporate policies and compliance of documentation requirements
  • Audit invoices to ensure accuracy and completeness of paperwork / rate agreements
  • Work with Dispatch and various outside providers to resolve billing issues.
  • Provide weekly feedback to management via progress reports
  • Followup on outstanding invoices and collect all payments
  • Effectively using portals, timely communication with customers for any related issues and billing issues
  • Review incoming invoices for proper customer PO information and supporting paperwork, match invoices with the customer PO, and process in the accounting system for the freight invoice match with each customer PO.
  • Monitor customer account details for nonpayment, delayed payments and other irregularities and update payments / reconciliation in QuickBooks.

Requirements:


  • Proven experience in a similar role a must.
  • Bachelor's' Degree in commerce, finance or accounting or related discipline would be considered as an asset.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Good timemanagement with an ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Extensive experience with collection of payments and billing customers
  • Minimum of at least one (1) year of billing experience
