Are you passionate about local food culture? We're Foodee, a team of food experts on a mission to connect local restaurants to businesses through our meal planning platform.

We help corporations spread the power of good food by curating menus from top local restaurants and delivering them to your office.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure accurate and timely of reporting of financial reporting and variance analysis to internal management and parent company, Sodexo
Lead an accurate and efficient monthend close process
Manage chart of accounts and general ledgers, ensuring accuracy and appropriate controls over accounting transactions
Process payroll and employee expense reimbursements
Enhance and maintain monthly cash flow reporting
Daily banking reconciliations
Proactively manage accounts receivable and aging as well as accounts payable
Oversee monthly Sales Tax remittances
Monitor and analyze financial performance against budgets and forecasts, providing actionable insights and recommendations to optimize resource allocation
Partner with operations teams to ensure a clear understanding of financial targets to drive improvements
Work with Senior Director to build and update financial forecasts and financial KPIs
Support audit requests as needed
Provide adhoc financial analysis

EXPERIENCE/SKILL-SET REQUIRED:

5+ years of progressive experience in accounting / finance
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA a plus
Previously managed at least one direct report
Experience at an early stage organization
Demonstrated ability to learn and optimize finance/accounting systems
Ability to problemsolve, both autonomously and within teams
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively presenting complex financial information to nonfinancial stakeholders.
Ability to collaborate effectively in a crossfunctional team environment, with a proactive and solutionoriented mindset.
Ability to flex working hours between Pacific and Eastern time zones as needed

NICE TO HAVES:

CPA
Public accounting experience
Experience in tech or hospitality
Budgeting and forecasting experience as well as financial analysis
Prior use of Xero and/or Accounting Seed for Salesforce
