    At Sinai Health, we care, create possibilities and offer hope. We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to support our 1 0 North General Internal Medicine, Acute Care for Elders at Mount Sinai Hospital.

    We are a General Internal Medicine Acute Care for Elders (ACE) unit with a -bed capacity. Our patients are older adults who are admitted for a range of diagnoses including pneumonia, congestive heart failure, gastrointestinal bleeds, delirium in addition to other complex acute and chronic illnesses. Our patients are often socially, functionally and medically complex which provides the registered nurse with opportunities to acquire specialized knowledge in the areas of respiratory medicine, oncology and palliative care, pain management, and wound and skin care. Geriatric principles of care and specialized knowledge and skill in working with older adults, is also core component of working on the ACE unit.

    Job Requirements
  • Current certificate of registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Current BCLS
  • BScN (preferred)
  • Previous clinical experience working with patients with acute and chronic illnesses
