SUMMARY DESCRIPTION

The Motorcycle Salesperson provides support for the Motorcycle Sales team and Business Office with clerical functions, bike ordering, filing, CRM tasks, and other administrative duties.

KEY RESULTS AREAS

Help in achieving annual unit sales targets.
High degree of accurate filing and records.

JOB DUTIES

Stocking and recording of new, preowned, consignment and demo motorcycles
Assists coordinating the sales leads in the CRM system accurately in a timely manner
Understands prices on new and preowned units based on tradein value or purchase
Assists preowned units go through the service department for inspections with printed reports
Can provide input and ideas for advertising, social media, events, etc.
Ensures proper stock of manuals, catalogs, brochures, price sheets, price tags, signage, and other forms and information
Filing of proper keys and fobs of units in inventory in the bike sales envelopes in filing cabinets
Assists with the motorcycle demo fleet, demo log sheets, test rides, waivers, and service scheduling needs etc.
Process and record new motorcycle trades with other dealers
Provides the marketing department with quality pictures and accurate info of units for website and social media needs
Monitors web site that available new and used units are on TDMC website, and sold ones have been removed
Assists that the sales excel sheet is updated and accurate for daily morning team huddles
May help with product videos for the website / social media
Assists with written procedures and policies.
Ensure that all tradeins / buyouts are titled and recorded properly along with any other required information
Ensure all tradeins and buyouts are title free and show any history of claims or accidents
Supports other departmental events and needs
Share knowledge with other colleagues

QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB REQUIREMENTS

Demonstrate superior customer service behavior and maintain positive relationships
Be available and flexible with days and hours within a 7day work week
View H-D Net daily for current factory and HDC / HDFS information, programs, bulletins, etc.
Remain current with all required training
Strong organizational and communication skills
Experience in sales and unit inventory management would be an asset
Knowledge and experience with motorcycles and related products
A valid motorcycle license would be an asset
Experience with budgets would be an asset
Strong computer skills and experience using a CRM program
Can freely enter the U.S.A.
Be honest and fair in all business dealings
Maintains the inventory on the Sales excel sheets
Helps control operational costs wherever possible
Attend meetings as required
Keep a clean and organized workstation and department
Other duties as assigned
