Description

The Warehouse Associate will increase operational efficiency, company profitability and customer satisfaction by accurately and safely receiving and storing materials, as well as picking, packing and scanning orders for pickup and delivery.

This position is full-time permanent, day-shift Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm. The initial wage will be negotiated based on previous experience and skillsets that the potential applicant can offer. After a probationary period is successfully completed, wages will be increased based on overall performance.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Perform general warehouse functions such as: pick, pack, shipping, and receiving
  • Handle inbound loads, perform cycle counts, receiving, product put away, replenishment of stock locations
  • Perform work in accordance with activity and account specific Standard Operating Procedures at acceptable productivity levels
  • Work in a safe manner and adhere to safe working procedures
  • Maintain an organized and clean environment.
  • Perform other general warehousing duties as assigned by management

Qualifications include:


  • Previous experience in a fastpaced, logistics environment
  • Familiarity with Radio Frequency (RF) equipment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Dedicated to providing superior customer service and quality focused
  • Positive attitude, flexible and adaptable, high energy, and selfmotivated

Salary:
$17.00-$18.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Barrie, ON L4N 3V7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- warehouse: 1 year (preferred)
