Position Summary:

Position Responsibilities:

Ability to work through all the details of projects and know how and where to find needed information
Anticipate needs of users and provide users with appropriate support and advice
Willingness to adapt to and learn new skills
Bring major information technology issues to CIO, including policy proposals, new initiatives, strategic plans
Responsible for voice / video networks, twoway radios systems, palm pilots, photocopiers, individual desktop PC's, all network systems
Maintain system infrastructure, including servers and software environments
Ensure backup systems operate effectively
Evaluate system for functionality and efficiency
Ensuring the security of data from internal and external attack
Keep up to date with latest technologies
Proactive and solutions focused
Use knowledge and skills in a problem solving capacity
Ability to work independently, or as part of a team
Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein

Technical Skills:

Enterprise Packages

Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS)

EDI Development

Extensive proficiency in the following ANSI X12 transaction sets:
204, 210, 214, 859, 820

Networking

LAN/WAN; TCP/IP, Ethernet, Hubs, Switches, Routers, VPN
Printers; HP LaserJet,, D-Link & HP Print Servers

Database

SQL Server 2000, MySQL, MS Access

Operating Systems & Supporting Software

Windows 9x, NT, 2000 (Professional & Server), Linux, Unix

Software Development

VB.NET, ASP/ASP.NET, Visual Basic,HTML, XML

Position Qualifications:

Strong organizational and planning skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Resourceful, able to work under pressure
