CHALLENGES AWAITING YOU
As an Occupational Therapist, you specialize primarily in the assessment of adult patients.

Occupational therapist is part of the rehabilitation team providing services to inpatients within different units (med-surg, complexe continuing care, emergency, ICU, etc.).

•Triage and prioritization of requests

•Assess and establish treatment plans

•Supervise occupational therapy assistants

•Work in cooperation with the members of the multidisciplinary team on the units.

What we are looking for

•Masters of occupational therapy or equivalent education

•Current member and, in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario

•Clinical experience of 2 years independent practice as an occupational therapist in a hospital will be an asset

•Experience in working in a variety of clinical settings i.e.: inpatient rehabilitation, ICU, ER, acute care and outpatient clinic with a variety of patients who have a wide range of conditions, including neurological, neuro-musculoskeletal, cardiovascular and respiratory.

•Capable of working in a high volume environment with constantly changing demands and priorities.

•Possess knowledge of both official languages.
