Whitehouse Windows & Doors specialize in custom home and multi-family window and door installations.We are seeking
Skilled Labourers to join our team.
You will participate in a variety of projects throughout the Edmonton area and follow construction plans and instructions as required.
This is a full time permanent position.To be successful in this position, you must be hard-working, reliable, and be able to perform physical tasks.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate site equipment such as various lifts, hand and power tools
- Loading/Unloading of materials, tools, and equipment
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment
- Other general laborer duties as required
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience working in the construction industry
- Must be able to lift heavy objects
- Must own proper PPE
- Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- Have a strong work ethic and an ability to work in a team setting
- Experience in window and door installation is considered an asset
- Lift certification, Fall Arrest, and First Aid are considered an asset
- Journeymen Carpenter is considered an asset
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Outdoors in all temperatures, working at heights, safety sensitive work sites.
- Physically demanding: standing, bending, kneeling.
- Work site: Construction which requires full PPE (hard hats, CSA steel toed boots, safety glasses/goggles, high viz).
TEAM WORK
Each individual must have the ability to adapt and support the needs of the dynamic working environment in the field.
COMPENSATION
- _
Wage based on qualifications and experience_
- Overtime Pay
- Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday
- Some weekends if required
