Part of the business line Financial Market Operations-Institutional Settlements, which has about 100 employees, you will work as an Analyste.

You will be the first line of support for our traders and clients, offering quality support, ideas for efficiency and automation and training to the team.

Additionally, you will be the guardian, with the team, of our processes and procedures, which are constantly evolving considering new business opportunities and industry initiatives.

Our mission is to ensure transactional support and operational expertise on transaction settlements, with the goal of ensuring an optimal partner and client experience


Your role:

  • Settle institutional buys, sells and repos on the North American Markets
  • Act as a resource person for the activities related to North American Settlements
  • Manage cash daily cash flows on the different settlement platforms
  • Contribute to the analysis of the performance of our systems and processes
  • Analyse and provide information required for decision making
  • Understand the needs of our clients and partners, identifying the problem and adapting your interventions in line with their needs to offer quality service
  • Produce reports and statistics required by different partners
  • Work closely with our trading desks and institutional clients, offering quick, efficient, and rigorous support
  • Identify operational problems by analyzing information and find solutions through curiosity and creativity
  • Update and optimize procedures in place

Required skills

  • A threeyear college diploma or academic equivalent in a related field and three years of relevant experience or any other combination of education and experience considered equivalent
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft products including Excel
  • Ability to work under pressure, quickly and accurately
  • Bilingualism (spoken/written) English and French will be necessary because you will regularly deal with partners located across Canada and the U.S.

Preferred skills:

  • Interest in Financial Markets
  • Experience in operations, with financial markets knowledge a plus
  • Knowledge of MAX, ISM, BPS, DTC, CDS, Murex
  • Ability to challenge the status quo
  • Resourceful, proactive and above all, curious to learn
