GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE:

You will be delivering excellent customer experiences by working closely and cooperatively with parents, caregivers and children 2-6 years (Early Years).

You will participate in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities for children in their Early Years. You will be ensuring children are safe and engaged while promoting a positive, healthy environment.

ABOUT YOU:

You are a courteous and effective team player committed to community.

You have the ability to implement policies and procedures, as well as to supervise, coach, and mentor other leaders and volunteers when needed.

You are a skilled communicator with a strong understanding of strategies to support participation and integration into a group setting, behaviour management, and early childhood development.

You will also have strong interpersonal, conflict resolution and problem solving skills.

You are able to work effectively with children, and work closely and cooperatively with parents and facility staff, while providing safe, quality programs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Availability to work at any North Vancouver Recreation & Culture location and required to submit a Police Information Check prior to appointment.

HOURS:

Shift lengths and schedules vary but are generally 3-5 hours in length. Early Years Camp Programs are scheduled Monday to Friday, between the hours of 9:00am and 2:00pm
.

HOURLY RATE:

$ $23.00 per hour based on training and experience, plus 4% in lieu of benefits.
