    Full-time Permanent

    Are you an experienced manager with a passion for social work and would like to make a difference in helping women and children heal from their experience of violence?

    Leeds and Grenville Interval House provides emergency shelter and outreach programs for women and children experiencing violence in the Leeds and Grenville area and we are looking for a Residential Manager to join our management team.

    You'll be a great fit if:

    • You are skilled at being the glue that holds the shelter together and being actively involved in the day-to-day management of clients and staff.
    • You have strong knowledge & understanding of both women's & children's needs & issues, violence against women and children (including barriers to safety) and harm reduction practices.
    • You excel at facilitation and conflict resolution.
    • You have earned your stripes (3 years' management experience in social services)
    • You have solid computer skills (Word, Excel, database management and scheduling programs).
    • You have an understanding of the civil and criminal legal system and how it impacts women's and children's lives.
    • You can be "on call" as required.
    • You have current certificates in CPR and First Aid.
    • You can provide a satisfactory Vulnerable Check (PVSC)
