We are looking for an experienced driver.

The Driver is responsible for the transportation of residents in company vehicles and for assisting residents and guests in and out of vehicles.

Essential Job Functions:

• At least two to three years of _professional_ driving/customer service experience preferred
• Five years' driving experience
• A clean Driver's Abstract.
• A valid BC Class 4 Unrestricted Driver's License
• Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records.
• Will also provide general vehicle maintenance

Experience/Qualifications:

• Must understand oral and written instructions.
• Must be able to schedule and manage all trips and outings
• Outlook/Excel/Word skills

Personal Characteristics:

• Must be adept at time management and scheduling
• Effective collaborative teamwork skills
• Empathy, patience and understanding of the needs of seniors, their families and the ability to communicate in a supportive manner

COVID-19 considerations:
All staff required to wear masks. All staff required to be fully vaccinated (as per BC Ministry of Health mandate). All staff and guests screened upon entry. All staff rapid tested weekly.


Ability to commute/relocate:

• Vancouver, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- driving: 5 years (required)


Language:

• Mandarin (preferred)
• Cantonese (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Class 4 Unrestricted License (required)
