Although a hair stylist has artistic vision, we never impose it on the client but rather work to accommodate clients' needs and desires with hair care.

We are looking for an energetic and experienced professional for the role of Stylist, for our Fiorio Vaughan and Fiorio Beaches locations.

Individuals with at least 2 years of salon experience skilled in various hairstyling techniques are encouraged to apply.

In this role you will be working in a positive environment with professional staff who have expansive knowledge in the industry.

If you are a Hair Stylist with exceptional customer service, have an understanding of current and future style, beauty and hair trends, and flawless fundamentals - you cannot go wrong with the move to the Fiorio.

Responsibilities:

• Shampooing, cutting and styling hair
• Consulting customers regarding hair styling and colouring
• Performing salon functions, such as attending customers, selling hair care and styling products, overseeing inventory control and ordering hair care products, when needed
• Keeping updated on hair trends, and styling methods
• Adhering to safety standards and salon cleanliness

Experience and Skills Required:

• 2 + years of hairstylist work experience with a broad range of exposure to various hair cutting and hair designing techniques
• Proficiency in hair styling techniques, including blow drying, iron styling, permanents, extensions, twisting, locking, relaxing, spiking, roller setting, pin curls, hair braiding;
• Ability to analyze hair and scalp condition and provide treatment or advice on beauty care treatments for customers' scalp and hair
• Skilled in suggesting hair styles compatible with clients' physical features or determine style from clients' instructions and preferences
• Personable and approachable, with an enthusiastic and motivational nature and an overall passion for excellence
• Creative mindset and a good eye for style and design.
