We have over 45 years of experience providing a wide range of consulting services to clients across western and northern Canada.

Our interdisciplinary team members have backgrounds in environmental impact assessment, natural resource management, economics, geography, planning, anthropology, archaeology and cultural resource management.

InterGroup's expertise is drawn from a team of full-time senior and intermediate consultants, who, along with our experienced research analysts, have undertaken over 1,000 assignments.


Responsibiliti:

  • Responsible for the delivery of economic analyses including economic impact assessments, input/output modelling, population projections and labour force supply and demand modelling.
  • Plan, manage and complete socioeconomic impact assessments with a focus on: undertaking socioeconomic baseline studies and preparing community profiles; analyzing socioeconomic impacts of proposed developments; and developing impact management programs, including mitigation, benefit enhancement and monitoring programs
  • Develop and expand client relationships that generate repeat business
  • Identify and develop new clients and business opportunities including proposal writing
  • Lead, inspire and mentor junior staff
  • Experience as an expert witness would be an asset

Background:


  • Master's degree in economics, business, finance or a related discipline
  • Minimum eight years of related experience
  • High degree of technical competence and broad knowledge of economic impact assessment
  • Minimum five years of experience planning, managing, and completing economic impact assessments including input/output modelling, preparing population projections and/or labour force supply and demand modelling
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with Indigenous communitiesents
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with Indigenous communities

We offer a flexible work environment with most staff currently working in the office 3-4 days per week. We have a competitive compensation package including salary, benefits, and annual bonus.


Salary:
$75,000.00-$120,000.00 per year

COVID-19 considerations:
Most staff are currently working in the office 3-4 days per week. We have a large office with plenty of space.

All staff have the ability to work from home when needed which allows us to easily adapt to changing COVID restrictions.
