Catalyst Cooks are an integral part in ensuring members receive their orders in a timely manner ultimately feeding their cravings.

As a Lead Cook, a typical day might include the following:

  • Be punctual with schedule and arrive to work ready and on time
  • Knowledgeable about Catalyst including all products, menus and promotions
  • Handling member concerns and feedback, perfecting orders not up to standard
  • Generate revenue by attracting new customers; defining new and expanded services and products
  • Prompt response to member orders
  • Quality checking food prior to service delivery
  • Cleaning and upkeep of the kitchen follow daily cleaning list
  • Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations
  • Safety first Be careful when using kitchen equipment/utensils
  • Provide support in absence of Chef or Sous-Chef
  • Ability to work on multiple stations with little to no guidance
  • Point of contact for Front of House Food and Beverage team
  • Ability to open/close all stations
  • Support Chef/Sous Chef with lunch and dinner service
  • Assist with training new cooks
  • Overseeing all deliveries
  • Assisting kitchen staff with closing duties

To land this role you need to have;

  • Minimum of 1 years' experience in a quickservice environment
  • Minimum of 1 years' experience working in a kitchen environment
  • Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays based on business needs
  • Culinary degree or diploma considered an asset but not required
  • Postsecondary education relating to the health and fitness industry and additional certifications or workshops relating to customer service
