La Saison de Patisserie is a new Vancouver base French patisserie focusing on artisan French pastries, entremets, chocolate and sandwiches.

We also serve high quality roasted coffee and premium tea.

We're currently looking for an enthusiastic and passionate team members that loves their craft and will carry out our highest-quality pastry product to join our team at 3868 Rupert Street, Vancouver, BC which is currently under construction, opening in October.


Responsibilities

  • Prepare and decorate pastries, such as cookies, cakes, and other sweets.
  • Cook in a professional manner, meeting all quality standards and following recipes precisely.
  • Maintain a clean work area and perform other kitchen duties as assigned.
  • Work with a minimum of supervision when other team members are not present.
  • Follow all health and safety standards when working with food and products.
  • Operate equipment safely and accurately.
  • Clean equipment properly after use.
  • Store products properly.
  • Work cooperatively with staff to complete tasks on time and meet their needs.
  • Demonstrate good communication skills when working with managers or supervisors.
  • Ability to follow instructions in written, oral, and diagram form for specific tasks.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification

Salary:
From $18.25 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Vancouver, BC V5M 2Z3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Baking: 1 year (preferred)
