Job Summary
Johnston Meier Insurance has an exciting position available at our No. 5 Rd office in Richmond for a Commercial Lines Assistant.

If you have great communications and interpersonal skills, a General Insurance Level 1 License, and are willing to learn, we'd like to hear from you.


Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service to our clients
  • Assist Commercial Producers with their portfolios in numerous areas such as marketing, processing, customer contact for additional information, accounts receivable, and claims reporting, to name a few.
  • Keep detailed notes on our computer system at all times (Paperless Environment)
  • Keep abeyances updated and current

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

  • Minimum Level 1 General Insurance Salesperson License
  • Insurance office experience
  • Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service
  • Flexible in job duties and/or hours as necessary
  • Company Portal knowledge is an asset
  • Computer skills including working knowledge with Word & Excel

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$45,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
