Summary:


The
Document Control Administrator is responsible for; effectively supporting the management of the Company's project controlled technical documentation in accordance with the company, customer and industry standards for projects.

The individual in this position will be comfortable in a busy environment involving both internal and external communications.


Principle Responsibilities and Duties:


  • Working closely with Electric Power team to compile all technical documentation, internal and external related to the projects and required for completion.,
  • Check incoming documents and drawings (revision / issue reason / title / etc.)
  • Classify the documents in
    SharePoint and in the
    BIM360 platforms.
  • Process and distribute documents internally and externally (bidders, contractors, suppliers, consultant, and client)
  • Support our customer with the use of the
    BIM360 platform.
  • Ensure that document management procedures are respected.
  • Other related tasks

Qualifications:


  • College Diploma (DEC) in Documentation or in a technical field.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role
  • Good communication in both French and English
  • Thorough knowledge of the Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe software
  • Knowledge of the field of engineering or construction considered an asset
  • A strong team player who is excited to work with collaborative engineers, designers, and project managers.
  • Rigorous and detailoriented
  • Good communication skills in French and in English
  • Excellent priority management skills
