What are you going to do?
As an HR Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive HR consulting services for CSL in Canada and BRB in North America, supporting approximately 60 colleagues.
Collaborating closely with the General Manager in Canada and the General Manager/Sales Leader in North America, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing HR policies for Canada and the US.
Additionally, you will actively contribute to various (Global) HR projects such as talent programs, policies & procedures, onboarding, and benefits.
In this all-encompassing role, you will also handle day-to-day HR tasks, including payroll, employment contracts, and reporting, adding a layer of diversity and hands-on experience to the position.
As an HR Business Partner, you will translate organizational strategy into tangible HR policies, tools, and actionable objectives.Offering guidance to general managers on business growth and provide daily support, addressing issues like employee relations, policy interpretation, benefits, absence and recruitment.
The team
Working within a matrix structure, you will have dual reporting lines - a direct line to the global Head of HR, Culture & Communication in Europe (The Netherlands) and dotted line reporting to the General Managers.
Our Canadian production facility comprises over fifty colleagues across finance, sales, R&D, ESH and production.
In North America you will work together with an additional twelve colleagues forming the Sales team including customer service and logistics, with an office in New York as well as home based colleagues in several states.

As a strategic thinker with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, you excel in offering guidance at various organizational levels. Additionally, you bring a hands-on, proactive, and precise approach to your role.
Furthermore, we are looking for someone with:
- relevant bachelor of university degree
- the will to work from our office in Guelph, with the option to also work from home occasionally and willingness to travel to our office in US
