_This is a regular part-time role (21 hours per week between the hours of Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm) based at 1 Blue Springs Dr. Waterloo._

The
Job Coach provides individualized pre-employment and employment coaching support for people with a range of disabilities including mental health conditions, as part of an integrated service team.

The task-specific time limited support facilitates a person's preparation and transition to employment.

The Job Coach prepares individuals for the job interview process using a comprehensive interview skills training approach, and assists with on-site and off-site job maintenance coaching support.

Some phone support may be required outside regular office hours. This position reports to the Team Lead, Employment.

Minimum two year diploma in relevant health or social sciences
Career Development Practitioner Certificate (an asset)
Previous experience in employment services and/or coaching with individuals who experience disabilities and/or mental health conditions
Familiarity with workplace adjustment challenges and disclosure issues
A demonstrated belief in the philosophy and values of the organization
Ability to develop and maintain effective collaborative relationships
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Demonstrated understanding and sensitivity to social and cultural diversity
Proficient with Microsoft Office, Outlook and various data base software
A valid driver's license, vehicle and insurance, as travel is required

Level 3 (OPSEU) - $24.11 to $29.29 per hour
