Role Profile


We have an exciting opportunity for you to work with a global beverage leader in the manufacturing industry The
Packaging and Warehouse Support crew members are responsible for supporting packaging and warehouse operators at our Hamilton brewery.


Role Details

  • Full time, permanent
  • 810 hour shifts
  • Shift start times: 7:00am, 12:00pm or 3:00pm
  • Immediate and April starts available

A typical day includes:


  • Build stable, secure and accurate pallets by logically placing products
  • Constantly manipulating products that can weight up to 2540 lbs
  • Tray Making, Re-Packing, Cleaning, etc., and other tasks as required
  • Load/unload trucks as required, including returning stock, pallets, etc. to inventory
  • Separate out of date and sellable product to the appropriate areas
  • Performing all work safely and with the utmost concern for the safety of self and other employees while complying with all health and safety standards as well as department policies and procedures
  • Keep the work environment clean
  • Perform all tasks in an efficient and safe way
  • Follow the supervisor's or the team leader's directives

Physical Requirements:


  • Highly repetitive and/or monotonous tasks
  • Carrying, lifting heavy items, transferring, lifting pushing items, operating heavy equipment, maintaining one position for a prolonged period
  • Ability to lift 20kgs repetitively throughout a shift
  • Standing for long periods of time in a warehouse environment
  • Ability to work in a high temperature or cold environment
  • High School Diploma, Professional Studies Diploma or Equivalence
  • Experience working in a forklift operating position, an asset
  • Previous warehouse experience in any capacity, an asset
  • Maintaining a professional attitude in stressful situations
  • High level of attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment
  • Ability to stay focused and remain on task to the product and packaging operations for long periods of time
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts and overtime, as required by Production Demands.
