Job Description:

The Associate Client Manager - Retail Analytics will be a key contributor to the sales function at NielsenIQ. This individual will support the qualification and tracking of leads and sales opportunities across NielsenIQ's North American retail clients.

With a focus on pipeline growth and management, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and contributing to the success of our Retail Analytics team through sales enablement support.

This position requires a strong understanding of the retail industry, analytics, and sales processes, along with proficiency in CRM tools.

Your analytical mindset, sales acumen, and collaborative approach will be essential in delivering exceptional results and nurturing client relationships.


As an Associate Client Manager, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, collaborating with cross-functional internal teams to ensure the successful execution of client projects and initiatives.

Your strong analytical aptitude and market research skills will allow you to stay ahead of industry trends and identify potential growth areas within the retail analytics domain.

This role is an incredible opportunity to gain a deep understanding of NielsenIQ's business model, as well as the unique business challenges and appropriate solutions that are specific to retail.

In this position, you will work with all types of retailers to understand their processes and practices around merchandising functions such as pricing, promotion, assortment, forecasting, and on-shelf availability.

Your work will drive positive, incremental outcomes for our clients, while also developing your leadership and management skills.


Responsibilities:


  • Support sales leads in identifying and qualifying sales opportunities within the retail analytics sector.
  • Collaborate with the business development team to manage and optimize the sales pipeline.
  • Assist in deal closing activities, including proposal development, contract negotiation, and customer presentations.
  • Utilize CRM tools to track and manage customer interactions, opportunities, and sales progress.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of client projects and initiatives.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to sales leads based on data analysis and market trends.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify potential growth areas.
  • Develop and deliver highquality sales presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales collateral and support lead generation efforts.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in retail analytics and sales techniques.
  • Maintain a strong sales mindset and proactively identify opportunities for upselling and crossselling to existing clients.

Qualifications:

  • Post secondary education
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • 3+ years of experience in CPG, Retail, Consulting, or Analytics.
  • Strong analytical aptitude with the ability to work with complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
  • Proven experience in sales processes and pipeline management.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools such as MS Dynamics CRM, Salesforce, or others.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to clients.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Selfmotivated and resultsdriven, with a strong sales mindset and a focus on exceeding targets.
  • Retail or manufacturing background, particularly in Retail Merchandising, Category Management, or Operations, is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a teamoriented environment.
