Description

Prepare monthly entries, maintain, and perform analysis for various accounts, including Intercompany and Treasury accounts

Monthly analysis and reporting of certain accounts, including monthly and quarterly reporting

Assist with budget preparation

Ensures the most effective and efficient use of the company resources by regularly engaging in process or system analysis and by assisting in the updating of system-wide policies and procedures.

Assists the Financial Controller in developing a competent and efficient accounting staff by training the staff in policies and procedures and supervising their daily activities.

Accounting Designation (CPA) would be an asset but not a deal breaker

Strong technical accounting skills

Minimum 8+ years of proficiency with a large ERP system

Multi-divisional, large corporate environment background

Familiar with the full cycle inventory process

Experience in the distribution industry is a strong preference, would consider manufacturing
